The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure system faculty position (Professor of Practice) in Marketing. The Professor of Practice will be responsible for: i) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across different modalities, with a particular focus on experiential learning; ii) acting as a liaison between the business school and the broader business community; iii) helping to set up various new school-wide programs, including the new sports certificate. This is a full-time appointment in the School’s marketing area. 

All positions are to start July 1, 2023.  Salary, teaching load, and benefits are commensurate with other major research institutions.  Ultimate recruitment for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the University.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must be either professionally qualified (i.e., Master’s Degree and a substantial record of relevant professional experience) or academically qualified (i.e., PhD in marketing). The primary considerations are teaching excellence, experience with experiential learning, ability to build relationships with industry partners, and collegiality.
