As the Assistant Professor, Marketing you will teach marketing courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable. The teaching load for this position will be up to three courses per semester with the possibility of summer teaching assignments. You will be required to produce scholarly output that allows you to be classified as Scholarly Academic according to the LCOB faculty classification. In addition to the teaching and research obligations, you will participate in service activities and/or initiatives that support the mission of the LCOB and FGCU.

Job Description

Essential Job Duties

Teaches graduate and undergraduate courses as required. Conducts scholarly activities and engage in professional activities applicable to rank and consistent with the LCOB guidelines for faculty classification as Scholarly Academic and engaging in service activities as required.

Provides service to the department, college, university, community, and professional organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited university program or equivalent accreditation.
  • Candidates must have an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution; ABDs who can provide evidence of completion of their doctoral program by August 7, 2023 will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Research and teaching experience in digital marketing.
  • Relevant business experience in digital marketing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university.

Salary commensurate with education and experience
