Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Department of Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park seeks to hire one faculty member at the assistant professor level to begin in Fall 2023. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct top-level scholarly research, deliver high-quality teaching, and perform service. The candidate will be expected to have the ability to teach courses to undergraduate, MBA, MS, and/or Ph.D. students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
Ph.D. degree or are expected to receive one within a year after starting the job.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Beginning Assistant Professor candidates should have outstanding research potential and more advanced candidates should have excellent publication records in relevant leading journals.
All applicants are expected to possess excellent teaching skills.
Although candidates can be from any research area within marketing (quantitative, behavioral, managerial), preference will be given to candidates with the ability to conduct behavioral research.
