JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Marketing in its AACSB-accredited business programs effective Fall 2023. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited school; ABDs completing a doctorate by August 2023 will be considered as well.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate should be able to teach introductory and advanced courses in Marketing that include, but are not limited to, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Retailing, and Advertising; secondary interests in Business-to-Business Marketing is a plus. 

Education:

  • The assistant professor should possess a terminal degree or its equivalent in organized research or professional practice; must have demonstrated ability as a teacher or research worker; and must have shown definite evidence of growth in scholarly, artistic, or professional achievement.

This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (including online teaching). Once hired, a strong commitment to effective teaching and publication is required, and faculty are expected to maintain a high level of professional activity through scholarly research and service.

Compensation is AACSB competitive.
