The Department of Marketing in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University is seeking applications for a full-time tenure track position at the Assistant or advanced-Assistant Professor level beginning in August 2023. Salary is competitive.

Research and teaching emphasis in digital and/or social media marketing is required. All candidates are expected to be committed to in-person teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level (e.g. Special Topics: Digital Marketing (MKT 4950), Social Media & Marketing (MKT 8220), Social Media (MKT 3220)) and conduct research of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have an established stream of research. Research focus could include topics such as social media, interactive marketing, online consumer behavior, digital marketing analytics and related topics. In addition, willingness to be involved in student and industry activities and research collaboration associated with Clemson’s Media Forensics Hub is strongly preferred (more information is available here: Welcome to the Media Forensics Hub | Clemson University, South Carolina).

The Marketing program currently has approximately 850 marketing undergraduate students, 23 MS Marketing graduate students, 15 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, two clinical faculty members, and eight full-time lecturers/professors of practice. Clemson is a small college town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, located on the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte and is 30 miles outside of Greenville, SC.
