The School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Marketing, effective September 16, 2023. This is a full-time position with a 9-month service period. Applicants from all research areas of Marketing are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to perform high quality research and teach a variety of Marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be willing to provide service to the university, the business school, and the community. The successful candidate will be expected to teach upper level undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing intelligence, new product marketing, and marketing analytics, in addition to courses such as marketing management. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain an active research program that will lead to publication in leading academic journals. They will teach at both the Bothell and Bellevue locations of the Business school.

Located in the heart of the Puget Sound region, the University of Washington Bothell is one of the most dynamic public universities in the state of Washington. The campus offers more than 55 undergraduate and graduate degrees. Current enrollment is approximately 6,000 students. The UW Bothell School of Business is accredited by AACSB and is deeply committed to the success of its faculty in research, teaching, and service. The School of Business is well known for its undergraduate, MBA and MS Accounting programs. We work closely with industry leaders as well as the smaller, innovative, and rapidly growing companies in software, electronic commerce, medical equipment, biotechnology, electronics, and aerospace. Our programs draw from companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Costco, Amazon, Expedia, Philips, and Starbucks. We also have a facility, the Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue, WA. All faculty members in the School of Business should expect to teach at both the Bothell and Bellevue locations. We have a growing supply chain management option and a MIS concentration. We offer a participatory student experience grounded in hands-on learning, close relationships with faculty members as teachers and mentors, and the personalized support of staff. Faculty members have complete access to the computing and library resources of the University of Washington, including commonly used financial databases via WRDS. The operations and MIS faculty are under a combined OMIS area. The culture is collegial and OMIS faculty members should expect to be able to interact with colleagues from other business sub-disciplines. Qualifications

A doctorate (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing, or a closely related field, is required.
