We are seeking Marketing professionals to join our faculty team.

Job Summary:

The Anheuser-Busch School of Business invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Marketing with specialty in digital/social media marketing and digital marketing analytics. As a faculty member, you’ll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. The ideal candidate must be committed to fostering a positive environment for faculty, staff, and students. This candidate must also follow all HSSU policies, procedures, rules and regulations and the HSSU code of Ethics. As well as, Title IX, Family educational Rights and Privacy Act, (“FERPA”), (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Teach assigned courses, (Marketing, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing Analytics), or otherwise specified utilizing innovative pedagogical strategies and current technologies to effectively deliver course content while incorporating real-world application of concepts covered
  • Serve as academic advisor for students in their junior and senior year

Student-Engagement:

  • Value and support student backgrounds, ideas, and opinions while preparing them for a successful transition to a culturally diverse work force
  • Complete grading and provide constructive and helpful feedback in a timely manner 
  • Maintain contact with students, using various methods of communication (i.e.  phone, email, virtual/in-person office hours), to provide additional assistance with questions/concerns
  • Work closely with student advisees to support academic success and career readiness
  • Maintain posted hours for the purpose of student advisement 

Program, Department & University:

  • Respond to communications (email/voice-mail) on a daily basis
  • Ensure that program and course learning outcomes are aligned with course content and assessed for continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to assist with the growth of existing programs and identify new and innovative programs
  • Assist in developing current and relevant curriculum
  • Submit, annually, to the Department Head or Division Head, the results of research done into a study of the local careers and industry regarding appropriateness of course/program content
  • Report to the Registrar’s office all grades and submits reports timely
  • Attend all faculty meetings, professional development functions and University committees to which they have been assigned
  • Perform those duties designated by the Dean, Assistant Dean, and/or Department Chairperson
  • Continuously oversee actions for improvements at campus level sited in the Faculty’s Planning
  • Participate in the self-studies and committees conducted by the University
  • Participate in the new students’ orientation
  • Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with business professionals and industry.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Exceptional collaboration and technology skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate with at least 18 graduate hours in Marketing or related field
  • Experience in online teaching and online course development
