The School of Business at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time (9-month), tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing. The position will begin in August of 2023.

The School of Business is accredited through ACBSP and currently offers undergraduate programs in the areas of Accounting, Financial Eco9nomics, Management & Leadership, Marketing, Organizational Leadership and Sport Management with 99% of our graduates either working or enrolled in graduate programs within 6 months of graduation The School of Business also offers a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. These programs combine theory with real-world experience to prepare students for professional success.

Responsibilities

  • Undergraduate and graduate teaching in marketing, with other business courses as assigned by Dean and Department Chair.
  • Academic and career advising with business students.
  • Active research agenda.
  • School of Business and University service (e.g. committee service, assessment, events).
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related business area. Qualified ABD candidates will be considered. Teaching experience and/or professional experience in marketing is highly desirable. Background or experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, and new business development is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, without sponsorship from the University under the Immigration Reform and Control Act. Must have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
