Job Description/Responsibilities
The Management and Marketing Department of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s School of Business seeks applicants for a tenure-eligible faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2023 (subject to budgetary approval). The primary responsibilities of this person will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Strategy, or other areas as qualified and needed. 

The Management & Marketing Department houses diverse disciplines in general management, organizational behavior, human resources, strategy, entrepreneurship, supply chain and operations management, marketing, and marketing research. This diversity provides opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborative research and curriculum development. Department faculty represent diverse cultural backgrounds including India, China, the Middle East, South Korea, and the U.S. Applicants should embrace the Teacher-Scholar model and will be expected to be student-centered, demonstrate a commitment to promoting experiential learning, and embrace online and blended education models.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants for the rank of Assistant Professor must hold a Ph.D. or be ABD nearing completion of a doctoral degree in Marketing or a closely related area. Preference will be given to graduates of AACSB accredited institutions, as well as candidates who possess the credentials required to be considered a Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards.
