Smeal College of Business-Clinical Professor of Marketing (Open Rank)

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire a Clinical Faculty member (open rank) to teach a range of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels beginning in Spring 2023. Key responsibilities include taking a leadership role in course content creation and design, course delivery, mentoring students, and service-related activities as needed by the department.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the relevant academic background (including a PhD by the start of the appointment), and practical experience in marketing. This is a three-year, fixed-term renewable appointment. This position is based in University Park, Pennsylvania. Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with the background and experience of the chosen candidate.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
