IESE Business School (Spain) invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Marketing Department at the Assistant Professor level. The appointment will be made for the Barcelona Campus, 2023-2024 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2023.

IESE Business School is an international business school committed to the education and development of business leaders worldwide and the generation and communication of significant new business ideas. IESE Business School is among the top five business schools in Europe and is consistently ranked among the top 20 business schools in the world. Our mission is to respond to the needs of both the business and the academic communities. As such, we are looking for strong candidates who can contribute to this endeavor. While our main campus is placed in Barcelona, we also run programs in our facilities in Madrid, Munich, São Paulo and New York City. 

The Marketing Department is comprised of around 15 international faculty with a proven track record in research, teaching and collaboration with companies. Our faculty has published research work in journals such as: Journal of Marketing, Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Management Science, Nature Human Behavior, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, and others.


Candidates should have completed or be close to completing their PhD dissertation and demonstrate research potential leading to publication in top academic journals in the area of marketing. We are especially interested in profiles that will welcome the opportunity to work in a young and dynamic research culture. Candidates already at the Assistant or Associate level at other institutions are also encouraged to apply.

All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, although we will be particularly interested in scholars with a long-term commitment to living in Europe/Spain. The starting date is July 2023; earlier entry is also possible if so desired by the candidate.
