HEC Paris is seeking applications for faculty positions at all levels, with a start date of September 2023. We are open to applications from all areas of marketing (quantitative, qualitative, behavioral, managerial). The position will remain open until filled, but applications should be received by June 30 for full consideration.
HEC Paris offers scholars a number of benefits. Our geographic proximity to, and extensive contacts with, the Paris business ecosystem stimulate research ideas and provide data access. Teaching loads are comparatively low (90 classroom hrs. annually, steady state, 60 contact hrs. for first three yrs. for Assistant Professor positions). Research support is also substantial. Personal budgets for research active faculty are 10K EUR annually, with the ability to increase to 20K+ EUR annually from additional funding sources. Researchers at HEC also have access to a state-of-the-art experimental lab located in the heart of Paris with a remarkably diverse online and lab subject pool.
HEC Paris has been consistently ranked among the top schools in Europe for the last decade. Such achievement and recognition derive from a diverse international faculty, dedication to and support of high-quality scholarship, and a wide range of high-quality educational programs. Our programs include (1) an MSc in Marketing within the French Grande Ecole system ranked 1st by QS World University Rankings in 2022, (2) a full-time MBA program ranked 2nd by The Economist in 2021, (3) two Executive MBA programs (International EMBA, TRIUM Global Executive MBA) ranked 1st and 5th worldwide, respectively, by the Financial Times in 2021, (4) an Executive Education program ranked 2nd worldwide by the Financial Times in 2020, and (5) a rigorous Ph.D. program.
English is the primary language used on our campus, not only among faculty but also in the classroom, as all courses are offered in English. Thus, French proficiency is not required.
