Job Description

Bogazici University, International Trade, Position in Marketing

International Trade department at Bogazici University, Istanbul seeks to recruit one appointment at all ranks, preferably an Assistant Professor for a position in Marketing. We will consider candidates in all areas of Marketing. Faculty will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels and conduct research publishable in top journals. At the assistant professor level, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated potential for publishing high quality research in leading journals. Candidates currently serving at the associate or full professor level who have an established record of publishing in top journals and a strong teaching record may also be considered.

About the department: The International Trade Department offers an undergraduate, and two graduate programs -one with thesis and the other without a thesis- at the Bogazici University. Information about the department can be obtained from our website: Teaching load is expected to be two courses per semester. Medium of instruction is English.

Job Qualifications:

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Marketing and a strong commitment to teaching and research. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong research track record displaying ability to publish in high quality academic journals and show evidence of a willingness to direct and supervise graduate research students.
