The Business Division at Marymount Manhattan College seeks applications for a Visiting Instructor/ Assistant Professor of Marketing to begin fall 2022 pending final budget approval. This is a one-year appointment with a 4/4 teaching load. This one-year position may convert to tenure-track depending on institutional need and resource availability.

 Qualifications

  • An MBA in Marketing/ Management is required; Ph.D. or ABD in Marketing/ Management is desired.
  • Ability to teach courses in marketing research, digital marketing, social media marketing, in addition to some combination of the following: social entrepreneurship, consumer behavior, strategic marketing, international marketing, or data analytics.
  • Expertise to help students earn Google Ad Words and Hubspot InBound certifications.

Responsibilities include teaching 4 classes per semester, advising students, and divisional and college service.

Candidates with requisite teaching and scholarly experience who are on track to complete a doctorate will be considered for appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor; others will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Instructor.
