Job Description

The Ohio University Department of Marketing in the College of Business invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track/tenured Advanced Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing. This position is in-person on campus in beautiful Athens, Ohio. The appointment is set to begin August 16, 2022. 

The position is for a student-centered, innovative faculty member with with a desire to take on a leadership role within the College, experience engaging and leading student organizations, and a strong interest in teaching professional sales. Consideration will be given to candidates who have at least two years of demonstrated success in publication, research, teaching, and leadership of student programs in a tenure-track or tenured position. 

This position will typically have a five-course (15 credit hours) teaching load over Fall and Spring semesters. Salaries for the appointment are competitive based on AACSB statistics and the candidate’s credentials and record of success. 

This position has potential for opportunities for leadership roles, international engagement, development of courses, additional teaching load, research support, and professorships. 

About the Marketing Department
The Marketing Department is the home of the nationally ranked Schey Sales Centre and the renowned Center for Consumer Research & Analytics. Undergraduate programs include a marketing major, marketing minor, sales certificate, and consumer research certificate. The Marketing Department offers a variety of teaching opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level. Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have in hand a Ph.D. in Marketing from an accredited program by the application date.
