The Department of Business & Administration in the Faculty of Business & Economics at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for one (1) tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the discipline of Marketing.  The ideal Candidate will have teaching proficiency in digital marketing.

Expected start date can be as early as July 1, 2022, however this is negotiable. This position is subject to budgetary approval. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

The Business and Administration Department (www.uwinnipeg.ca/business) is among the largest in the University. It offers both a 3-year and 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree based on an innovative interdisciplinary approach to business education emphasizing social and ethical responsibility. The 4-year BBA provides a variety of concentration options.

Qualifications

Candidates require a PhD (completed or near completion). Selection will be based on potential and/or demonstrated strength in research, teaching, and service. We seek individuals committed to meaningful contribution to Departmental governance, respectful collaboration within and across the University, and constructive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an independent research program and contribute actively to Departmental administration. Teaching responsibilities may include online course development and delivery.
