Graham School of Management and Saint Xavier University invites applications for a teaching-track Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Marketing, to begin on or about August 1, 2022. This is a 1-year non-tenure rank, full-time faculty position. The position is based in Chicago, IL.

The selected candidate is expected to contribute toward advancing Graham School’s mission and vision primarily through teaching and service. The Graham School of Management strives to develop business leaders with personal, professional, and service excellence. Whether a learner pursues a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), or a certificate of study, our AACSB-accredited business curriculum will help them develop human and practical skills that help them obtain meaningful employment.

The selected candidate will teach a minimum of four courses per semester in marketing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. (or equivalent) or ABD in disciplines of Business Marketing or a closely related field and a recent record of scholarship published in peer-reviewed journals are preferred, or a Master’s degree in domains of Business Marketing and a sufficient number of years of relevant industry and professional experience.  
The successful applicant should be able to design and teach courses in a broad area of fundamentals of business marketing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate should have the ability to work with minimum supervision, maintain effective communications with colleagues, and use initiative to resolve problems or find information.

Undergraduate teaching experience is preferable.
