The Department of Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems in the College of Arts, Sciences, Business and Education at Winston-Salem State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing beginning August 2022 who will teach a variety of marketing courses. 

The successful candidate will serve as a faculty advisor who will mentor and coach students. The successful candidate must have an active research agenda within the discipline area that drives his or her scholarly research. This effort must result in publications in peer-reviewed journals within the discipline, and presentations at professional conferences and meetings. Procurement of extramural grant funds from foundations and agencies is highly encouraged. The successful candidate must participate in departmental, college and university service as well as engage in service to the professional discipline and the larger Winston-Salem and Forsyth County community.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in delivery of both on-campus and on-line classes
  • Previous experience advising undergraduate students
  • Previous experience procuring extramurally funded grant funds
  • Previous experience partnering with business and industry
