The University of North Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing within the Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business & Technology, to begin in fall 2022. Salaries are competitive with other AACSB-accredited institutions, and a review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

The University of North Alabama is the state’s oldest public university and sits on a beautiful 130-acre campus in historic Florence, Alabama. Florence is located within a four-city area on the banks of the Tennessee River known as the Shoals, which is steeped in arts, culture, and entertainment—and is home to the famous Muscle Shoals sound.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses. The successful candidate will have evidence of effectiveness in the classroom, and a track record (or potential) of producing publications necessary for the college to meet current AACSB International accreditation standards.

Requirements

Candidates must possess, or be within 6 months of completion (if currently ABD), a doctorate in Marketing from an accredited institution. The review of candidates will focus on their research, teaching, and service.
