The College of Business at Doane University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Business to begin in the fall of 2022. A Ph.D. in Business Administration or a related business field such as Marketing is preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.

The annual course load for this position is seven courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Graduate courses may include: Strategic Marketing, Ethics and Social Responsibility, and other courses in our MBA and Master of Arts in Leadership programs. At the undergraduate level, courses will be in marketing and/or management. Additional teaching responsibilities include academic advising and mentoring, developing new courses and curriculum, and assessment. Service responsibilities include meeting with prospective students, working on projects related to accreditation, committee membership, etc. Engagement in scholarship and professional activities is expected.

The mission of the College of Business is to achieve excellence through knowledge, experience, and the liberal arts. We offer classes at different locations (Crete, Lincoln, and online) and in different modalities (in-person, distance-learning, and asynchronous online). Our residential campus is located in Crete, with undergraduate classes offered during the day in 16-week long semesters. The Lincoln campus is geared toward working adults with undergraduate and graduate classes offered one night a week in the evening during 8-week terms.
