The College of Business (COB) has been AACSB accredited for over 40 years. We offer BSBA, MBA, and MSA degrees and our School of Hospitality Management offers both a BS in Hospitality Management and an MS in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality. We are one of the largest Colleges of Business in the state with approximately 4,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students. To date, the COB has approximately 150 faculty members of the highest caliber, skilled in the scholarship of research, teaching, and application of knowledge. A strategic goal of the college is to create an environment where the faculty, staff, and students can thrive and be personally and professionally respected. The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management within the College of Business at ECU has approximately 1,100 undergraduate majors and over 20 faculty members and offers courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Job Duties The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management within the College of Business has a full time, Teaching Instructor position available beginning August 2022 and invites candidates to complete the online application. The Instructor will teach twelve semester hours of undergraduate Marketing courses. Specifically, the candidate should be able to teach two of the following courses: Introduction to Marketing, Cultural Environment of International Business and/or Persuading Decision Makers (Introduction to Sales). The position requires face-to-face instruction and may also include online delivery based upon departmental needs. Candidate will also be expected to provide service to the university, community, and profession, and any other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Minimum Education/Experience MBA or MS in Marketing with at least 18 credit hours of Graduate coursework in Marketing from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards. Alternately, MBA with 5 years professional experience in marketing and/or Sales from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards. 
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation N/A
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education Relevant work experience and/or college level teaching experience in professional marketing as well as an MBA or Marketing Certificate are preferred.
