The Marketing Department within the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor starting August 2021.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 9,600 undergraduate and graduate students.  The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa’s dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area.  UT reflects this vibrancy; with 22 consecutive years of enrollment growth UT boasts 260 student organizations, a multicultural student body from 50 states and 140 countries, and “Top Tier” ranking in U.S. News and World Report.

The teaching load is three (3) 4-credit hour courses for a total of 12 hours per semester.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited program, or equivalent, in Marketing, or a Ph.D. in a closely related business field with published scholarly work in Marketing.  ABDs will be considered.  The Marketing Department is a collegial department seeking applicants who have a proven track record in teaching, scholarship, service and student mentoring.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach both graduate and undergraduate students and preference will be given to candidates with expertise in marketing research and international marketing. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
