Assistant Professor of Marketing and Business

Union College is seeking applicants for a full-time position in Marketing and Business beginning August 2021. Founded in 1879, Union is a small, liberal arts college located in southeastern Kentucky. Union has a long history of commitment to Appalachia and provides quality education accessible to a wide range of students, including underrepresented groups such as first-generation students.

We seek a broadly trained individual who is student-centered and committed to quality undergraduate teaching at our Barbourville, KY campus. Duties include teaching a range of courses in marketing and business. Applicant should hold a doctorate in marketing, business/management, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in marketing. Special consideration will be given to candidates who also hold a minimum of 18 graduate hours in business-related field in addition to marketing.

Union faculty are also responsible for student advising, committee work, participation in departmental and college service activities, and engagement in professional development activities. Knowledge and use of educational technologies and on-line teaching is expected.
