The Department of Marketing and Management at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications for two (2) tenure-track positions in Marketing beginning Fall 2021. Each position is responsible for teaching, research, and service. Each position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Each position is tenure track and a nine-month appointment.

The Marketing and Management Department (http://uca.edu/marketingmanagement) has 18 full-time faculty members who support 365 students majoring and 205 students minoring in Marketing; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Management/Human Resource Management. The department also services the Master in Business Administration program. The department has vibrant relationships with external employer stakeholders. The department is located within the College of Business (http://uca.edu/business) and occupies a recently constructed 70,000 square foot state-of-the-art building. The College offers fifteen undergraduate degree programs and four programs at the graduate level with typical enrollment in the college averaging approximately 1,600 undergraduates and 170 graduate students. The college’s BBA and MBA programs are accredited by AACSB.

The new faculty members will teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Teaching excellence is required to earn tenure, and candidates should have evidence of quality teaching. Potential or demonstrated ability to teach in both face-to-face and online formats is desirable. Tenure-track faculty are expected to provide service commensurate with their rank and experience, including mentoring students. Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated ability or potential to produce quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

While areas of teaching are open, the skill areas most needed by the Department are varied and include digital marketing, marketing analytics, sales management, and consumer behavior/advertising.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field. ABDs will be considered provided the candidate is close to degree completion.
