Ayelet Fishbach anticipates hiring a Principal Researcher. This position is designed to support a talented behavioral scientist who is looking for postdoctoral training in the field of motivation in psychology and business. To this end, the Principal Researcher will conduct research in collaboration with Professor Fishbach and members of the Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

The position is open to candidates who have recently earned their Ph.D. (or who are expecting their degree in 2021) in any area of psychology or business. Close familiarity with methods of experimentation is important. In particular, experience in conducting field, lab-based and web-based experiments is desirable. A successful candidate must demonstrate an outstanding capacity to generate original research questions and implement studies to investigate those questions. Specific duties will include participating in study design, data acquisition and analysis, manuscript development, and presentation/publication of results.
